Forbidden books (Joset trilogy) 12+
In the year 2116 AD, a huge tsunami devastates the Earth. The survivors settle on the planet Kosna and start a new era: AED (After Earth Devastation).
Forbidden Books is set in the year 997 AED, where humanity lives in dome colonies, spread over eleven planets. They are subject to draconian laws and individuality is not allowed. Sy determines the laws and the High Council on each planet ensures that they are followed.
Joset lives on the planet Kosna, under the dome of the colony Kosnapol. Her resistance to the 'nonsense rules' often gets her into trouble. One day, she and her friend Hogan discover a settlement of the very first colonists. There they find books that they thought were lost long ago. This changes their lives forever. Joset joins the resistance movement 'Freedom'. Hogan cannot because of a family secret. This drives them apart.
But just when Joset thinks Freedom will make a change, something happens. And she seriously doubts her choice to join them. Who can you trust anymore?
Forbidden books is part one of the Joset trilogy (Forbidden series)
